Welcome

Our website contains intriguing and valuable information about the importance of invertebrates in the environment. Access published articles on butterflies and other invertebrates.

We recommend growing butterfly host plants and the construction of invertebrate-friendly gardens to encourage an increase in biodiversity. The BOIC works with other community organisations and councils to promote the conservation and restoration of invertebrate habitats.  BOIC is proud of our two publications on the Butterfly Host Plants of SE Qld and Northern NSW and the  Mistletoes of Subtropical Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.  Visit the Shop to find out more information on our publications and that of other authors who are members of the Butterfly & Other Invertebrates Club Inc..
